My Tips to a Quick Makeup Look

Hands up if you agree that there is nothing worse than sleeping through your alarm, and you realize you have to be out the door in 15 minutes! Obviously you still need something on your face otherwise you’ll look like you should still be in bed. I put together some little tips and tricks I’ve learnt over the years that’ll hopefully help you too!

1 | Don’t spend much time on your base. Opt for a BB cream and a light concealer. I focus on my skin care after I shower the night before, that way I don’t have to do too much in the morning. I have never used a primer and hardly ever go for a full-coverage base. Also, if I’m having an extremely good skin day, I’ll even ditch the concealer. And besides, BB creams are so much healthier for your skin!

2 | Minimize & Utilize. Use bronzer as your contour, bronzer, blush and eyeshadow. This easily eliminates at least 3 products and 4 different brushes.

3 | Use your favourite eyebrow product. If you don’t have one I suggest trying a powder and or a tinted brow product. For me, eyebrows are the hardest thing to get right. So as long as you feel comfortable using whichever product you opt for, you’ll be alright.

4 | Spend most of your time on your mascara. This will help make your eyes look wider and more awake, even if you aren’t!

5 | Use a tinted lip balm instead of fussing with lipsticks. Unless you’re a beauty guru, you probably don’t have the time to sit for 10 minutes trying to get the perfect outlined lips!

Bonus tip! Ever since I can remember, I’ve always showered at night. Which means I have a lot more time to wash my hair, wait for it to dry naturally and style it before bed. Obviously most mornings I’ll have to touch up some curls or straighten out some kinks, but for the most part I’m not spending hours in the morning just doing my hair!

What are you’re go-to tips & tricks for a quick makeup look?

Love,
Courtney xxx
