My Favourite Ways to Spend a Rainy Day

There’s something about summer showers that make me have all the feels. I don’t know if it’s the warmth that comes with the rain, or the sound of the rain hitting the pavement, or the mixed smell of rain and freshly cut grass, but I absolutely love it. One thing I don’t enjoy however, is being stuck inside not knowing what to do with your day. So, I’ve put together a few of my favourite things to do for these days.

1 | Have a Pamper Day: There is no better time to pamper yourself than on a rainy day. Treat yourself to a bubble bath, your favourite skin care, your favourite book, a new mani/pedi, or a good movie with yummy treats (or all 5!). You do whatever makes you feel good!

2 | Organise and Clean Your Space: Whether it’s your whole apartment that needs a clean or that pesky bedroom you’ve been meaning to reorganise for 4 weeks, you’ll feel so good once it’s done. Put on your favourite tunes and get to work, it’ll be worth it!

3 | Read a Book: There’s literally no better feeling some days than to just grab a good book, make a hot chocolate and get snuggly under your favourite blanket, while the rain is pouring outside. It’s pure bliss!

4 | Bake: One of my favourite things to do on a rainy day is bake. Whatever my cupboards allow, I will be baking something. Usually it’s my banana bread recipe or a cookie of some kind.

5 | Blog: Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed with life that I forget that I need to upload a blog post. Rainy days can sometimes be a god send because it allows me to actually just sit down and write. Which I love to do!

How do you like to spend your rainy days?
