4 Books That I’m Dying To Read Next

I am half way through reading Call Me By Your Name by Andre Aciman, and am already thinking about what I should read next. So I’ve curated a list in my daily journal of books that I come across, and I wanted to share 5 of the books with you!

When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi: I came across this book over at From Roses, where it’s on her “currently reading” list, and the story line sounds really beautifully written. It’s an autobiographical memoir of Paul himself battling stage 5 lung cancer. I really want to read this because a) it has great ratings, b) an autobiography is not a genre of book I’ve read before, and c) this will really tug at my heartstrings.

Meet Cute: Some People Are Destined to Meet by Huntley Fitzpatrick & Jennifer Armentrout: This is a anthology curated by short stories of “how they first met” by other YA authors. I thought it’d be a really cute, romantic book to read when I feel like picking something up but not wanting to delve into a full novel story. Plus it’d be a super cute coffee table book once I’ve read it too!

Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman: This one is a recent discovery that I saw on Tanya Burr’s blog, and I instantly fell in love with what the book is about. It follows Eleanor who struggles with day-to-day social skills. But when she meets a friend, her world is turned upside down. I can’t wait to read it!

Everything All At Once by Katrina Leno: This book sounds like an amazing read. It’s about a girl named Lottie who has anxiety, and her close aunt passes away. But when she dies, Lottie finds letters that her aunt has written her, each containing instructions to get her niece out of her comfort zone. It sounds like such a cute read!

Please do share books that you’ve read and loved and would recommend! I always love to read recommendations on books.

Love, Courtney
