What’s In My Shower

I don’t know about you but I like to know what products people love and enjoy using in the shower… is that weird? lol So I thought I’d share what I’ve been using (and LOVING) in the shower.

I first start off by cleansing my face, with the St. Ives Apricot Scrub. Honestly, I’ve been wanting to try this for ages, but the thought of an apricot scent kept steering me away. But actually it smells pretty good. This has gentle exfoliating beads in it too, which is perfect because my skin is always dry. Every second day (or days where I feel I need a little more TLC) I will also use the Eminence Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant and leave it on for 1-2 minutes before washing it off. These two products combined leave my face feeling like butter. I’m obsessed.

For Christmas, I got the Bath & Body Works Sensual body wash which I have been using ever since getting it. It smells incredible, lingers on your body for ages (especially when I use the body lotion after I’ve dried myself once getting out of the shower). I’ve never used body wash from B&B Works, but I think I’ll be continuing from now on, because it’s amazing.

Wasn’t sure if I should mention what razor I use, but I thought what the heck… lol I am a true fan of the Gillette Venus Tropical Razors. I brought cheaper ones a few weeks back and forgot how much I love the Gillette razors. I had cuts and razor burn all over my legs from the cheap razors. So the next day I went out and “splurged” on these. They shave so smoothly, so never again will I use cheap razors.

Onto my hair washing… I am always trying new shampoo and conditioners, but at the moment I’m using Garnier Whole Blends Green Apple & Green Tea. I am a lover of anything green apple, and the scent of this lingers in my hair for days. I love it! I have used other products in the Whole Blends range, and they’re amazing. I highly recommend checking them out for you hair type 🙂

I keep my products very minimal in the shower. I have my go-to face products, am always trying new haircare, and always using different body washes. I feel like shower products are a fun way of trying new ranges or new brands because most things are very reasonably priced compared to other shower products.

Let me know what skin cleanser, hair care and body wash you’ve been loving – I’m a sucker for things that leave my bathroom (and me of course) smelling delicious.

Love, Courtney
