It’s always exciting shopping for new bits, but somehow I’ve managed to treat myself to new things just three weeks before Christmas… so I wouldn’t recommend doing that just for your bank accounts welfare. But in my defence.. I’d hate to think the last time I actually splurged on myself and made spontaneous purchases like these, so just roll with it 😉 Also, I do apologise if some of these items are no longer in stock or available in the colour I got them in, because I did this all on the Black Friday weekend, but I’ll link where I can!
I have been needing new sunglasses for ages now, but I am quite picky on the style I like/what will suit my head. So when I saw the new Quay x Tony Bianco line, I just knew I had to have the “Gotta Run” pair – it was instant love. While I was browsing, I noticed they sold mens sunglasses too, so I picked up the “Flint” pair for Cree for Christmas. Plus, it just so happened to be Black Friday weekend, which meant they had the Quay x Desi Perkins “High Key” for free too! (but I think I’m gonna give these to Cree’s sister, because they’re too big for me *sad face*)
(You’ll have to excuse Keira Knightly making an appearance in the next few photos lol…. I was half way through watching Love Actually when I realised I needed to take photos for this post!)
Since I was on a shopping spree already, I headed over to Boohoo because their savings were beyond amazing that Black Friday weekend. I was actually shopping on Asos before heading over to Boohoo, where I saw the Boohoo J’Adore t-shirt. But noticed it was a couple bucks cheaper on Boohoo, so that’s when I decided I’d be doing my shopping (+ they had a few other things I really wanted). I absolutely love it! It’s the perfect slogan tee I’ve been wanting for a while now. You can see it’s quite a bit longer (I’m 5’3″ for reference) but I quite like that so I can tuck it into skirts and jeans… Nothing worse than having a short top that can’t be tucked in.. am I right ladies?
I’ve been loving wearing my boyfriend jeans with my longer grey cardigan, so decided it was time I bought a charcoal boyfriend cardigan for my wardrobe too.. more so for those cosier, chillier days spent inside. I love the knit, rolled sleeves and buttons on this one!
The main reason why I went on this spree in the first place was to pick up some jumpers. I recently *kinda* cleared out my wardrobe, and realised I don’t have many nice jumpers for going out in. So I picked up a chenille jumper, which is super soft and warm. It’s probably my favourite thing of this whole haul! And a much-needed chunky jumper for the more cosier days, which again has a super flattering fit. I’ll probably tuck the front of this on in, and it is quite long in the front, but it covers my bum which is awesome for those legging days (like today).
