My Instagram is full of photos of my every day life. And no I’m not a pro at editing and photography, but everything on my Instagram is real, is taken by me, and is my stuff. So I thought I’d share how I take photos & how I clean them up a bit 🙂
I’ve been using VSCO since I first got on the Instagram band-wagon. It’s got everything – from adding warmth, brightness, contrast, to adding filters and being able to crop. I definitely just go through my main settings and play around with them all. I love to crop my photo to a square before doing anything, that way I can see how my Instagram will look before uploading.
I will also use Facetune if I need to remove a pesky blemish, or if my teeth need whitening. I also use the whitening tool to any grey or yellow areas that need to be brightened up. I typically do this step before VSCO and adding any filters, so it all looks seamless.
