Pumpkin Spiced Latte… Mmmm!

FALL IS FINALLY HERE! Which means it’s time to bring out the cozy sweaters, plaid scarfs, soft beanies, and start making all things pumpkin spiced! I wanted to make a latte today, so I decided to add a little spice to it. It turned out delicious if I do say so myself! Let me know in the comments if you decide to make this too! Btw, I made enough for both me and Cree, so this recipe makes 2 servings 🙂

2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (canned pumpkin)
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups milk (I used 2%)
1/2 cup black coffee (use 2 shots of espresso if you have it)

1. Cook pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice on medium heat in saucepan until hot
2. Stir in honey until it turns into a thick, bubbly syrup
3. Whisk in about 2/3 of the milk & vanilla extract until hot
4. Stir in coffee (or espresso)
5. For frothed milk, shake milk in jar vigorously, then take off lid and pop milk in microwave for 45 seconds
6. Pour latte blend into your favourite mug, and scoop your frothed milk on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon or pumpkin spice.
